Associate Manager for Packaging Operations

The position

You will be part of an amazing leadership team with talented and engaged colleagues who work closely together to deliver on our business goals. As an Associate Line Manager in Packaging Operations, you will ensure that everyone in your team is highly engaged, kept competent for the future, and clear on our current priorities. You will report to the Director of the department. The main tasks will be to: Set clear direction for and developing a team of skilled operators that work independently on different shifts, running our packaging lines. Ensure planning and optimizing of the production. Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders across the business area. Run a LEAN, fact-based, and data-driven operation where everyone on your team applies a continuous improvement mindset. To deliver on the shared business goals, you will also make sure that your team has a strong collaboration with the other teams in the department. As a leader, you nurture an environment where everybody helps and inspires each other to succeed, grow, and develop. You set a clear direction for your team and provide coaching and feedback to support development and ensure collaboration. At a strategic level, you ensure all activities and efforts of the team are continuously aligned with business needs, and that the right stakeholders are involved in initiatives and decisions. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you: Preferably hold a relevant academic degree in leadership or equivalent. Have experience from a similar leadership role in which you have demonstrated strong leadership and collaboration skills. Are fluent in spoken and written English and Danish. You know your way around a production shopfloor in a fast-paced business with a proven track record of handling changing priorities in close collaboration with your team and stakeholders. Most important is that you are an inclusive leader with strong LEAN-leadership capabilities and a passion for people development. About the department You will join the Packaging department at our BRD FP site in Kalundborg, Denmark. We are responsible for ensuring efficient and effective packaging of products. We have approximately 80 engaged colleagues in the department. Our department operates in the rare diseases field, committed to delivering high-quality products while continuously seeking ways to improve our production processes.
