We are seeking an energetic and committed Business Developer to drive complex commercial sales and business development activities within the offshore wind and ocean cleantech segments. As our Offshore Charging Business Developer, you will play a pivotal role in fast-tracking Stillstrom's market penetration and cementing our leadership in offshore charging technology.

The role focuses on developing our business in the offshore wind industry, a key market for our technology. You'll collaborate with the Head of Business Development for Offshore Wind to execute our go-to-market strategy and build our pipeline. Responsibilities include building relations with international clients, co-developing business cases, conducting offshore charging studies, and enhancing sales materials. Additionally, you'll support early business development activities in introducing offshore charging outside ports & hubs and collaborate with the Strategy and Analytics team. Ad-hoc tasks for business development are also expected.

The position will be part of the Stillstrom Commercial & Marketing team in Copenhagen, and you will report directly to the CCO and have a close collaboration across Stillstrom.

The workplace is in Stillstrom’s HQ in Nordhavn with canteen, café, and regular team activities. Further you will have access to the Esplanaden campus that includes gym and a range of other attractive benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Head of Business Development in commercializing Stillstrom's solutions in the offshore wind industry segment.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including major energy companies, vessel designers, owners, and technology firms.
  • Drive the commercial journey from initial introductions to building complex business cases showcasing offshore charging commercial viability and benefits through to of offshore charging
  • Collaborate with our Strategy & Analytics team to refine the business case around offshore charging and electrification in the maritime sector.
  • Represent Stillstrom at industry events and drive participation and engagement within target segments.
  • Develop and refine internal sales tools, manage, and update the pipeline, and provide regular commercial updates to management.
  • Ad-hoc support within the segment of ports & hubs, support and drive special projects, and corporate development.
  • Frequent travel should be expected to our key regions within EU, UK, and US.

    Who we are looking for

  • Dynamic self-starter with a passion for early-stage ventures and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Motivated, open-minded, and eager to learn with a structured and analytical approach.
  • Background in international B2B or B2G settings with a track record in offshore wind, cleantech, or maritime industries.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, complex sales, or similar roles.
  • Relevant business degree (min. Bachelor) or technical degree with an MBA.
  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
  • Experience from offshore wind industry and/or early stage cleantech is a plus.
