The position
As a Business Insights Partner, you will report to the Director of the Executive Office and be responsible for resource forecasting, driving the budget process, and driving a variety of projects that influence the direction and development of the GMA organization, you will take the lead in providing analytical work and business cases to ensure optimal decision-making for management. This is an ideal position for a data-driven person with a financial toolbox who wishes to inform and drive decision-making on a fact-based foundation. You will structure data and translate insights into scenarios, impacts, and recommendations. Other tasks will include: • Drive and further develop the resource forecasting model and ensure that the output is enabling data-driven decision • Manage and continuously optimise the budget processes for the Global Medical Affairs project and portfolio budgets• Provide timely budget follow-up and conduct monthly reporting to senior management• Support the SVP leadership team strategically with financial forecasting as well as capability and capacity planning, as a basis for organisational planning and development• Drive analyses and business cases and support management’s strategic decision-making through analysis and business understanding• Partner proactively with key stakeholders up to the SVP level and consolidate complex analyses into well-structured communication material Qualifications As a person, you possess exceptional communication skills and have a positive attitude, even under high pressure and fast pace. You thrive in a changing environment and are adept at engaging and managing stakeholders at various organizational levels. We're seeking candidates who fulfill the following prerequisites: • A master’s degree or similar in Business, Engineering, Economics, or other relevant areas• You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position• You are good at conducting financial and strategic analyses and formulating outcomes for different stakeholders, and Excel at analysing data and financial performance• Have solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities combined with strong oral and written communication skills• Are system savvy and have a flair for IT and are eager to learn new tools and systems• Are fluent in written and spoken English In addition, you thrive in a global environment with international stakeholders, and you focus on high quality and integrity in your daily job. About the department The GMA Executive Office is anchored in the Development organisation and is located in Søborg (Greater Copenhagen area), Denmark, the GMA Executive Office supports the senior leadership team in GMA. In GMA we are working to improve patient lives - we do this through building bridges between our stakeholders and delivering insights about Novo Nordisk’s research activities to our external stakeholders and by providing external medical input to colleagues across the organisation. You will become part of a team of 9 dedicated individuals with multiple profiles, ranging from communication, project management, data analysis, or strategy leads. The main aim is to ensure a close link between the strategic processes, from finance, performance management, and communication on behalf of and in close collaboration with the leadership team.
