CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) in Denmark is on the look out for a new Projects Director with a highly commercial mindset

Are you ready to lead dynamic projects and drive business growth in Denmark? Join CBRE Global Workplace Solutions as our new Projects Director in Copenhagen reporting to the Managing Director and a dotted line to Regional Projects Director.

In this role, you'll spearhead our Projects division in Denmark, overseeing a diverse portfolio of Principal Contracting projects ranging from office and store fit-outs to building refurbishments and energy projects. Our organization calls for a person who is interested in a close collaboration with the Regional Projects Director and local Business Unit Directors and have a dotted line of responsibility to our 6 Head of Projects in our Business Units. You'll play a key role in shaping our success in the Danish market.

Your Key Responsibilities

In your role as Project Director, you will be at the forefront of developing and executing strategies to secure new sales, creating a robust pipeline of opportunities that align with our project plans. Your expertise will not only support the sales process through innovative solution development and participation in key presentations but also elevate the profile of our Projects offering both internally and externally. This involves fostering strong relationships with clients and supply partners to drive major project delivery.

One of your key responsibilities will include navigating CBRE's matrix organizational structure effectively. This requires leveraging your adeptness in creating collaboration across different business units and geographies, aligning project goals with overarching corporate objectives. Additionally, your role will demand a high degree of digital proficiency, as you'll utilize modern project management tools and digital platforms to streamline project delivery, enhance team collaboration, and improve client interactions, ensuring our projects stay at the forefront of technological advancements.

A significant part of your role will be to champion sustainability practices and integrate ESG principles into project design and implementation, reflecting CBRE's commitment to building a sustainable future. Alongside, you will employ comprehensive risk assessment strategies to identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered timely, safely, and within scope and budget.

What are we looking for?

You are expected to have extensive experience in project management within hard services, facilities management, construction, or critical environments, coupled with a proven track record in developing new project opportunities and managing high-value projects from inception to completion. Your financial acumen will be crucial in managing budgets and leveraging margins to drive profitability, alongside your strong experience in managing supplier relationships and optimizing project costs with a focus on sustainability and ethical standards.

Your exceptional communication and negotiation skills will enable you to influence stakeholders at all levels, promoting sustainability, and risk mitigation measures in all client interactions. Fluency in both English and Danish is essential, facilitating seamless communication and maximizing the impact of your leadership within a diverse cultural environment.
