Vestas Power Solutions (VPS) is where new product ideas are developed, matured, improved, and tested. Within Vestas Power Solutions (VPS), you'll find our team, Commercial Concepts and Business Validation, as part of the New Concepts and Power-to-X department.
In the Commercial Concepts and Business Validation team, you will have the opportunity to join a group of highly skilled peers driving the commercialization of innovative new technologies and concepts. Our goal is to ensure that innovation initiatives developed for Vestas have signification value creation and a clear commercialisation plan. To achieve this, we collaborate with top knowledge partners and suppliers in the industry.
Responsibilities
Facilitate commercialisation plans related to new innovation projects in New Concepts and Power-to-X
Be responsible for detailing innovation project values, establishing business cases and detailing Vestas business model.
Stress testing and validating the commercial and business potential of new innovation initiatives
Securing alignment with key commercial stakeholders and functions across Vestas
Ensure alignment between innovation effort and Vestas overall strategic direction and ensure internal product and concept development processes are followed
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, demonstrating expertise in the renewable sector or commercialization in related industries
B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree, with a preference for backgrounds in Business/Economics coupled with pertinent market and technical experience or in Engineering complemented by hands-on commercial exposure
Previous experience with consistently delivering substantial results
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
Prior experience in a global, intricate organizational setting
Ideally, experience in business development, strategy development or management consulting
Competencies

Have a commercial mindset to support and explore innovative ideas and concepts
Ability to translate complex innovation into easily understandable value and market potential
Have the power to influence and question the status quo both internally and externally
Possess great communication skills and are fluent in English (oral and written)
