We are looking for someone who can see themselves involved in a wide range of tasks related to communications. It is important that you are excited by PR as this role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing our already strong global media presence and measuring our outcomes. You will be responsible for managing essential press-related tasks, playing a key role in our global PR strategies, and ensuring seamless collaboration across our regions and PR agencies. In addition, you may be involved in the production of content marketing material and you will get involved with some internal communications work.

Key responsibilities:

PR tool super user (dissemination, optimization and tracking): Serve as the primary user and expert in our PR tools. Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring optimal utilization of these resources for maximum impact.

Localizing content and earning coverage: Work closely with regional colleagues to tailor and localize content for different markets. Focus on earning media coverage by understanding and leveraging regional media landscapes.

Supporting PR evaluation and reporting: Assist in the planning and evaluation of PR campaigns and initiatives. Contribute to regular reporting, providing insights and analysis to inform future strategies.

Production of marketing communications material including long form content marketing.

Sharing best practices and content: Facilitate the exchange of best practice and content between colleagues and external agencies. Contribute to the existing culture of learning and continuous improvement.

Updating essential assets: Regularly update PR assets such as press kits, biographies, fact sheets, media assets, and other essential materials. Ensure these resources are current, accurate, and readily available.

Supporting communications colleagues in other tasks related to PR and internal communications including working on interview briefings and building PowerPoint presentations.

For you to have success in the position as a Communications Specialist at UR we imagine you have the following experience and skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a public relations, marketing or communications role.

Demonstrated ability to work highly collaboratively with diverse teams.

Excellent organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and ability to prioritize

An analytical mindset and a flair for data-driven decision making.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. An understanding of Danish is an advantage.

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.
