Corporate Vice President, Head of Investor Relations in Novo Nordisk

The position

is based in Novo Nordisk HQ in Denmark. Your main responsibility includes: Develop and execute Novo Nordisk's investor relations strategy and equity story to effectively communicate the company's performance, strategy, and outlook to the investment community. Build and maintain strong relationships with sell-side analysts and investors. Serve as the primary point of contact for investor inquiries, meetings, and conferences, ensuring timely and accurate responses. Collaborate with internal teams, including R&D, Finance, Legal and Corporate Communications, to ensure consistency and accuracy of messaging to investors. Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities and regulatory developments to provide insights and recommendations to senior management. Prepare materials for quarterly earnings releases, investor presentations and annual reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices. Support the CFO and executive team in capital markets transactions, including equity offerings, debt issuances and M&A activities. Lead the team of IR Managers and IR Coordinators. Join the CFO leadership team as an active member contributing to the development and performance of the CFO organisation. Qualifications The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in investor relations, finance, or related roles within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, along with a proven track record of successfully building and maintaining relationships with investors and analysts. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of financial markets, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements, coupled with excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—to effectively convey complex concepts. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker capable of analysing data, identifying trends, and deriving actionable insights. Leadership experience, including managing teams and cross-functional projects, is essential, as is the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while effectively managing multiple priorities.
