The Country Lead for the Nordics plays a pivotal role in maximising profitability and revenue within the region by focusing on tender and pricing activities, alongside traditional sales and distribution operations. The primary objective is to drive efficient sales operations, optimise market access strategies and enhance commercial capabilities to ensure sustained growth and market competitiveness within the designated regions. Operational support of Nordics markets is also required.

Role and responsibilities
  • Oversee and streamline commercial operations across the designated regions, focusing on enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring seamless execution of sales strategies and initiatives.
  • •Develop and implement comprehensive pricing strategies tailored to the dynamics of the Nordics markets, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
  • Lead tender management processes, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to maximize opportunities and minimize stock write-offs.
  • Monitoring of stock levels, out of stock management and reporting
  • Analyze market access challenges and opportunities within the Nordics markets, with a particular focus on tender and pricing dynamics.
  • Develop and execute strategies to optimize market access, including establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and influencers in the region.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional colleagues, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Bringing together and enabling virtual and in person cross functional team collaboration.
  • Integrate with organisational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal, Code of Business Ethics, environmental policies and general duty of care.
  • When appropriate to the function, create, revise and maintain up to date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with GxP.
What you'll bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • High level of proficiency in English; proficiency in additional relevant Nordic language(s) will be an advantage.
  • At least 5 - 8 years of experience in a Commercial or similar management position in multinational companies, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience in Pricing, Tenders, Procurement, and Market access activities.
  • Proven track record in commercial operations management within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-regional and cross-functional teams and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance undertaking of business activities.
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management mindset, with a focus on driving results and achieving objectives.
