About the role:
As a Data Governance Specialist, you’ll be instrumental in facilitating the deployment of a global data governance framework, designed around specific use cases to ensure relevance and impact. Your efforts will directly contribute to establishing and maintaining high data quality, ensuring consistency and compliance across our global organization. You will be an integral part of the Data Governance Center of Excellence (CoE), tasked with establishing a solid data organization and enforcing data governance standards, policies, and processes.
Your Impact:
Global harmonization: Define and maintain data standards, ensuring uniformity and reliability across systems and processes as part of our Center of Excellence team.
Data Integration: Spearhead the integration and migration of data across platforms, aligning with our governance framework to ensure integrity and strategic alignment.
Policy Innovation: Craft and uphold dynamic policies, guidelines, and procedures for data management, setting new industry benchmarks for excellence.
Quality Assurance: Develop and manage quality control measures to continually enhance the accuracy and utility of our master data, turning quality into a strategic asset.
Process Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities to streamline data management workflows and tools, boosting efficiency and efficacy across the board.
Collaboration: Collaborate across departments to define and implement data governance roles, fostering a culture of accountability and shared responsibility.
Framework Facilitator: Play a key role in the deployment of our global data governance framework, tailoring implementation to specific use cases to maximize relevance and impact.
Coach and mentor: Design and deliver training materials and concepts to onboard and coach our data governance organization.
