Vestas Power Solutions (VPS) is where new product ideas are developed, matured, improved, and tested. Within Vestas Power Solutions (VPS), you'll find our department, Product TCM, as part of Product Solutions & Integration.
Our team performs Product Design, setting direction for new products and architecture, and optimal solutions between Transport, Construction and Maintenance.

Responsibilities
The specialist Offshore, Construction will be technically responsible for a defined scope. Having an extensive experience within offshore construction area.

Develop maintenance solutions and streamline processes tailored to offshore operations. Assess and estimate the scope of requested tasks to facilitate resource allocation and planning

Interpret and translate business requirements into clear technical product requirements, and if necessary, break them down into modular components

Assist Product Transport Construction and Maintenance Functional Leads with technical insights, contributing to strategy, architecture, and roadmap development

Coordinate with Project Managers to ensure alignment in timelines, technical processes, and deliverables according to Vestas Way To Market standards

Conduct DFMEA to proactively identify and mitigate potential maintenance risks. Develop and implement comprehensive test and verification plans to uphold product integrity and performance standards

Provide guidelines for design verification and documentation at the product level, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements

Ensure seamless alignment across the entire value chain and interfaces involved in onshore maintenance operations

Qualifications
We are seeking an ideal candidate with the following qualifications:

A bachelor’s or master's degree in mechanical engineering or similar studies

Prior experience in the wind industry, particularly in construction sectors

Demonstrated expertise in offshore operations within the wind industry

Proficiency in design processes, including requirement setting, system design, test specification, execution, and reporting
