About the project
The Capital Region of Denmark’s Centre for Real Estate is building New Hospital Bispebjerg. It is financed by 2.95 billion DKK from Kvalitetsfonden (PL 2009). New Hospital Bispebjerg consists of several separate projects, of which the Main Hospital Building, of approx. 76,000 m2, is the largest. The hospital is expected to be finished in 2026.

The Capital Region of Denmark is currently investing 20 billion DKK in hospital construction, of which 9 billion DKK comes from Kvalitetsfonden. The projects will create contemporary and functional frameworks for the best possible treatment, with focus on the patients.

Core responsibilities
The Design & Technical Coordinator – Architecture/Fit-out will support the Project Management Team with the following tasks:

• Manage and coordinate the design & technical submissions from the design consultancies and contractors.
• Collaborate with other architects, engineers, and design professionals to ensure that the design is developed in line with the Employer’s requirements.
• Manage and coordinate the Employer’s multi-disciplinary review of the design & technical submissions from the design consultancies and contractors to ensure accuracy, compliance with building codes, and adherence to project requirements.
• Manage and coordinate the Employer’s responses to contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate the implementation of design solutions and resolve any issues that may arise during construction.

• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor the progress of construction activities and ensure compliance with design intent.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and other materials for decision making and engagement with stakeholder.
• Assist in the review of contractor’s construction documentation (e.g., method statements, inspection & testing protocols, material approvals, etc.), and quality plans (e.g., quality management plan, construction management plan, etc.)
• Attend regular meetings with the contractors to support with the planning and coordination of the Employer’s activities

About you
We are looking for someone with the following skills and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural design and/or design & technical coordination.
• Minimum 3 years of architectural design and/or design & technical coordination experience in completed complex building (hospital, pharmaceutical, airport terminal, etc...) projects
• Good level of English, the role requires reading/writing technical reports in English and the verbal communication will be in English.
• Collaboration and communication skills in an international project environment
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other architectural design software.
• Strong technical skills and understanding of building codes, construction methods, and materials.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) software and processes.

Salary and conditions for employment
The salary and conditions for the employment will be according to current trade agreements, with the possibility for negotiating supplements for qualifications.

The workplace is located at Bispebjerg Hospital, Bispebjerg Bakke, 2400 Copenhagen NV.

Working hours are 37 hours per week
