About this opportunity

Welcome to the FX Developers team. We add value by building the software platform for the FX trading business in close collaboration with other e-Trading teams and key business stakeholders. As the Developer, you’ll play a valuable role in delivering efficient trading capabilities that enable Nordea to continue to have competitive offerings that meet the needs of our customers.

What you’ll be doing:

Hands-on design, development and testing of event-driven micro-services that implement low-latency pricing and algo trading (risk management)

Analyse and optimise performance characteristics of new and existings systems

Collaborate closely with developers, traders, quants and ML experts to provide competetive pricing to Nordea customers

Take your code all the way to production in close collaboration with our dedicated operations team

You’ll join a team of passionate developers with strong business knowledge embedded in the markets organisation. The role is based in Copenhagen.

Your experience and background:

Relevant degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or another technical field

Excellent developer skills

Experience or interest in distributed systems, including concurrency, inter-process communication and network programming
