To help our clients realize their visions from idea to completion, we are looking for an experienced Client Advisor to join our team. You will become a part of COWI's Building and Industry division in Denmark, counting around dedicated colleagues.
In the department of Project Management Consultancy. We are searching for the right profile, so if you are located east, you will be considered for our Lyngby office, PMC EAST – and if you are located west, you’ll be considered for our Aarhus office, PMC, west.
In Lyngby, you will have approximately 95 committed colleagues, and in Aarhus app. 40 committed colleagues – all working alongside our customers on some of Denmark's most significant projects in construction consultancy.

As a senior client advisor, you have significant experience with complex projects and have been responsible for project-related and contractual challenges in all phases. You are familiar with the premises of construction and excel at building relations with COWIs clients.

Your key activities will be:

Client consultancy services such as clarification of the Clients’ needs, establishing decision bases, tendering advice, process design, program writing, advising on competition and risk management, as well as quality, time, and budget follow-up during design and delivery,

Strategic advice to Clients regarding projects and processes,

Project management, including ensuring knowledge sharing to colleagues and supporting individually formulated learning objectives to team members.

The first step to success in Your role as Client Consultant is that you are eager to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners, or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. You don’t get set in your ways but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.

On top of that, you must have:

An educational background as an engineer, architect, building constructor or in another relevant field of constructions,

A minimum of 10 years of experience with larger construction projects, providing you with deep insights and broad knowledge in construction or civil engineering projects as a consultant, contractor, or developer,

The ability to convey and visualize planning results and ensure clear agreements to facilitate effective collaboration among all parties,

Strong communication skills in both Danish and English, both verbally and in writing.

The following attributes are not a must, but will be considered advantageous due to the growing demand for sustainability and digitalization in project management at COWI:

A knowledge-based interest in sustainability

Familiarity with DGNB, LCA, and/or CO₂ requirements

Experience in working with circular construction and sustainable materials.

Use of digital tools or integration with BIM, as well as the contractual terms for digital construction.
