What will you be doing?

As a Fileshare Architect, you will be responsible for the Advisory, Architecture and Support of the Fileshare services, focusing on fileshare and storage Infrastructure for building roadmap, evaluating business requirements, and designing new solutions to meet future demands. 

You will be entrusted with the below responsibilities: 

• Building new cloud services based on the latest technologies for file sharing and backup in the public and private cloud. This will cover all the phases of a service: from Conceptualization, Proof of Concept, Business case creation, Design, Implementation, and operations 
• Providing Fileshare support for SMB ACL’s (Server Message Block Access Control List) and NFS (Network File System) export strategies including permissions, migrations, tools, and scripting
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and secure solutions 
• Advising Global stakeholders on Fileshare Infrastructure and services and Storage Management design adopting industry best practices 
• Defining general requirements and security requirements for File share services 
• Creating processes and procedures to support operation of File share services
• Ensuring compliance with industry security standards and regulations 

Which competencies to bring?

To be successful in this role, you should have: 

• Degree in related field and/or preferably 5 years of experience with Fileshare Architecture, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry or a regulated field 
• Experience with cloud storage services such as Azure File Sync, AWS FSx, and cloud archive solutions, focusing on SMB and NFS file sharing technologies 
• Proficiency in data protection services and disaster recovery solutions, especially Rubrik technologies   
• Experience with scripting languages and infrastructure as code tools 
• Understanding of ITIL, ITSM, Agile/SAFe, security standards and best practices (GxP familiarity is a big plus)

The Cloud and Corporate Infrastructure team is part of our Global IT Operations department, which is responsible for managing and maintaining the IT infrastructure at Novo Nordisk. With a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere, our team plays a crucial role in enabling Novo Nordisk’s digital transformation. We have the global responsibility for all Novo Nordisk network and related services. This includes WAN, LAN, Wireless and other network technologies which connect end-users with each other and their data. 
 
You will join a team responsible for developing and managing infrastructure platform areas, including data center facilities, server hardware, backup services, fileshare services, server virtualization, and desktop/application virtualization. The team's vision is to provide stable, secure, and scalable infrastructure platform services required for OnPrem and private cloud systems at Novo Nordisk.
