Finance Controller

We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Finance Controller to perform main role tasks for legal entity in Serbia Elopak BS d.o.o. and give active controlling support to Packaging & Procurement (P&P) division in domain of asset reporting and planning, quality cost reporting and other controlling activities.

Finance Controller position will be based in our New Belgrade offices, from where will work closely with the P&P controllers in Norway, as well others internal stakeholders in Elopak and external partners. Finance Controller will directly report to General Manager of Elopak BS d.o.o. with dotted reporting line to Manager Reporting & Controlling P&P.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Overview and accounting responsibility for the legal entity of Elopak BS d.o.o. by coordination and supervise of the accounting performed by the external bookkeeping agency, as well as alignment with any auditing in external/internal processes. Some activities are out of scope for the bookkeeping agency and will be performed within this role (such as cash flow management and e-banking)
• Prepare and upload reporting to Elopak Group, using Oracle HFM (monthly intercompany reconciliation, monthly and quarterly Oracle HFM reporting etc.)
• First point of contact for any financial reporting both, internal and external, for the Serbian legal entity, but also other ad-hoc finance, tax and planning activities (eg. transfer prices, dividends, annual business plan, procedures and reports development, inventory etc.)
• Active controlling support to P&P: Capex reporting and planning, quality cost reporting, month-end activities, and other controlling support activities. The nature of this support will develop and vary with the requirements of P&P Finance and the interests of the employee engaged in this role
• Coordination and communication with P&P Asset Manager and other managers in P&P regarding capitalization projects follow-up

What will you bring? Qualifications

• BSc Finance / Accounting (high school or university degree)
• 3-5 years of experience in finance and business controlling (preferably in international organizations/companies)
• Full Professional Proficiency in English
• Good interpersonal and social skills
• Strong in communication and relationship management with stakeholders
• Knowledge of SAP and other accounting software is an advantage
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications (with focus on Microsoft Excel)
• Proficient at setting priorities and fulfilling deadlines
