Key responsibilities:

As the leader of the accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all processes related to the general ledger and tax compliance. This includes overseeing the preparation and coordination of all financial statements to guarantee accurate and meaningful group reporting. Additionally, you will serve as the primary point of contact for auditors, addressing any inquiries related to the general ledger and internal control system.

In addition to managing payroll accounting, you will play a primary role in ongoing and quarterly financial forecasting to provide insights into the company's financial health. You will also provide dashboards and analyses for local management, enabling informed decision-making.

Furthermore, you will closely monitor financial profitability ratios to ensure the business's profitability. Administrative coordination and statutory support, such as pension & insurances and compliance, will also fall under your purview.

Required Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must possess a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of managerial accounting experience.

Skills & Abilities

Your proficiency in general ledger, “IFRS”, and VAT will be essential, alongside your affinity for numbers and mastery of financial concepts. Strong conceptual, analytical, and critical thinking skills are crucial, as is the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a structured framework.

Your leadership capability and adeptness in change management will drive the team forward, while your ability to navigate efficiently within a matrix organization will contribute to a successful collaboration.

It is important that you are fluent in English, as this is the corporate language, but your Danish should also be at a high level.

You likely possess a great experience with Excel and other ERP software, along with strong learning abilities in various other software tools that can support you and the team in your overall work.
