This role will ensure accurate financial data for our manufacturing site located in Lynge and ensures strong financial compliance, ensures productivity initiatives and ensures the function operates at a high level of quality. Our Danish operations produce our Widex premium brand with over 270 FTE.

What you will do

Evaluate site operations and financial performance through daily, weekly, monthly and yearly indicators and tools

Ensure reliability of site gross margin and site below gross margin expenses during closing process

Provide all supporting information for closing entries (cut off adjustments, accruals, risk estimates…).

Ensure accuracy of management control and costing information in the ERP system of the site

Maintain site accounting support and report all information related to profitability analysis

Support Operations management control by ensuring proper supply of all costing information

Monitor site productivity plans (labor, overheads, material)

Support plant operations ERP system implementation and drive costing and inventory workstream for rollout in Denmark.

What you bring

The ideal candidate will have a solid accounting background and will also be enthusiastic and knowledgeable about leveraging technology to streamline and automate processes, to scale our work as the business continues to grow.

Experience

A relevant experience in (strategic as well as operational) accounting and controlling in a manufacturing / supply chain environment.

Experience in establishing and maintaining financial records systems in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards and accounting principles for an industrial site.

Personal competencies

Effective communication skills both written and verbal – ability to clearly demonstrate and explain financial performance and underlying business drivers to a range of audiences

Enhanced interpersonal skills, capability to build effective working relationships with corporate, and the Operations team
