We are a small finance team with a large area of responsibility. Our goal is to drive Vaillant’s growth in the Nordic region by being a trusted and reliable business partner for the Nordic organisation. Your focus will be on the daily bookkeeping and accounting.You will ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with local GAAP as well as IFRS. Moreover, you will be responsible for all accounting-related topics as well as monthly and annual closing activities and be the main point of contact for our auditors and tax authorities. The position offers the opportunity to take on controlling and planning of cost centers in the long-term.
Your key tasks include:
Monthly local closing activities and IFRS reporting Local GAAP year-end closing of our entities in Denmark, Sweden and Norway, including communication and preparation of documents for auditors Monthly control and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts Debitor and creditor management (both views) including credit management and receivable aging Bookings directly in SAP and through workflows (incl. payroll and recharges) Primary contact regarding vat and tax topics Implementation and optimisation of financial processes in your area of responsibility
WHAT YOU BRING ALONG
Educational background in finance, audit or similar with min. 3-5 years of working experience from a similar position Strong analytical skills in accounting, controlling and solve financial problems Comprehensive knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS Strong skills in using MS Office (esp. Excel) and SAP ERP, especially SAP FI-CO (SAP-SD favourable) Good communication skills, both verbal and written in Danish and English Reliable, trustworthy and proactive working attitude
