Why this role is important to us
SimCorp is on an exciting journey to become a wholly SaaS driven enterprise. You will play a key role in driving the development of the Business Finance department. FP&A will be the engine assisting financial business partners, controllers and senior stakeholders to achieve financial insight and transparency while ensuring tight cost controlling.
Working closely with the Director of FP&A your role as FP&A Lead will be key in driving groupwide forecast and budget processes, unlocking value in our forecast system Adaptive Planning, mentoring junior team members and ensure financial management reporting at the highest possible quality. You will have direct and daily interaction with senior stakeholders across SimCorp. Your work will provide the financial foundation for senior management and your colleagues in business finance to help drive the business forward.
What you will be responsible for
Your key responsibilities, within the area of FP&A , will be to:
Own cross functional analysis of all financial performance acting as a trusted stakeholder and assisting finance business partners & senior stakeholders across SimCorp with key insights
Drive the communication around the financial performance
Be part of driving the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting process
Be part of driving the development of financial transparency as well as financial analysis to proactively identify business performance
Drive and/or contribute to finance- and business initiatives and projects
Drive and/or contribute to the development and optimization of financial- and business processes and the use of financial applications
Act as a role model to junior team members
What we value (our requirements)
Solid stakeholder management skills
At least 5+ years of experience with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and providing financial business support
A structured and analytical mindset with a self-starter attitude and a high degree of attention to detail
The ability to work just as well independently, as in teams
Brilliantcollaboration and communicationskills
A high drive, a sense of urgency, and the ability to prioritize between multiple stakeholders in a dynamic and changing global environment
An academic degree in management or finance
Fluency in spoken and written English
