The position
will focus on Danish media and interact with specialists, managers, and top management within Novo Nordisk, including members of Executive Management. This position will also engage with various functions within Novo Nordisk like the Danish Affiliate and the Novo Nordisk's global production network in Denmark. Key external relationships include Danish journalists and agencies. Your main task will include: Handling of incoming media enquiries from Danish media Advising Novo Nordisk spokespeople on communication strategy, key messages and delivery in connection with media appearances Coordination of product supply, sustainability and pipeline communication Media training of Novo Nordisk spokespeople and facilitate interviews and other media events Driving communications projects in close collaboration with other departments Qualifications Journalist and/or a relevant university degree, e.g. communication Extensive working experience either as a journalist or from a communication job in an agency, company, or organisation Public relations, media relations or strategic communication. As well as experience with or within the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage Strong strategic and analytical skills Spoken and oral fluency in Danish. About the Department The HQ Global Media team is part of the wider team called Global Media & Stakeholder Communication. The whole department of Global Communication is based out of Novo Nordisk in Bagsværd, Denmark. Besides Global Media & Stakeholder Communication, Global Communication has over 60 people working on Reputation & Corporate Brand, Content & Digital, and Executive and Employee Communication.
