About The Job
You will ensure a clear marketing strategy based on understanding of our markets, customers, and competitors. It is your responsibility to drive and safeguard the competitiveness of Membranes over its full life cycle in close cooperation with resources in Membrane sales, service, and operations. Besides that, you will develop and maintain the road map for New Product Development (NPD) and Existing Product Development (EPD), based on market input, in close and continuous dialogue and cooperation with Membranes R&D. Your tasks will be:
Own the product portfolio and take action to secure competitiveness
Identify gaps and needs for technology development and set the development roadmap
Determine product launch strategies and follow up on product launches
Develop marketing plan based on market situation analysis and competitor benchmark
Own pricing strategy and structure incl. process, guidelines, and tools
Drive cost structure analysis and revise regularly based on market development incl. raw materials, market conditions, competition etc.
Secure product regulatory compliance with focus on Food Contact Compliance EU/FDA for standard products
Own the membranes competence development and secure efficient execution of training programs
At Alfa Laval, we offer a hybrid work model with the opportunity to work from home when it fits with your tasks.The position is based in Søborg, Copenhagen with regular trips to our site in Nakskov. Travel is expected to be approximately 40-60 days a year, primarily domestic to Nakskov and customer visits.
What You Know
Ideal candidates will possess a master’s degree in chemical engineering, coupled with a profound understanding of membrane technology. Your academic background should be complemented by a deep technical knowledge specific to membrane processes, showcasing your expertise in this critical area. In addition to your educational qualifications, candidates with a strong foundation in Chemical or Food knowledge are highly desirable. This additional domain expertise will contribute to the multifaceted nature of our projects.
