Lely is growing fast and expanding internationally. Our regional offices, which we call ‘Lely Clusters', are here to secure the medium-and long-term development of Lely’s distribution channel. They’re representing Lely in sales and service of all chosen propositions, but also HR is getting increasingly important. After all, employees are the greatest asset of any organization.
Up to this point HR tasks have been with another colleague in the Cluster or support was provided by the headquarters in the Netherlands. That is no longer future proof, and hence we believe in investing locally, securing knowledge and a dedicated go-to-person. That is where you come in!
What are you going to do?
You are the HR Advisor for the local Cluster Management Team regarding all tactical HR matters such as recruitment, employee engagement and retention, local laws and regulations, strategic personnel planning, talent management, leadership, succession planning, HR data & reporting and all other HR matters. You localize and carry out the HR policy that is formed at our Headquarters in the Netherlands, but of course, you give it the right twist so that it fits with the local (office) culture. All done in cooperation with the rest of the Cluster team.
But that’s not all… besides the support to the internal Cluster organization, your role as an HR Advisor also includes sharing knowledge and delivering tactical HR support -both on-and offsite- to the Lely Owned and private Lely Centers that are part of the Cluster North East area to facilitate their growth and ambitions. This local approach is new for us, and we want to further shape this together. So, there is room for creativity and initiatives, how cool is that?!.
Of course, you don’t have to reinvent the wheel on your own, because you work closely with the HR team at our headquarters in the Netherlands. They are professionals who can support you in the field of business partnering, recruitment, employer branding, policy and so on. Besides that we have also created our international OneHR community -consisting of all our international Lely HR colleagues around the globe- in which we share experiences and knowledge and take the time to have fun with each other!
And not to forget, of course you come to the Netherlands occasionally to brainstorm and work together live with other HR colleagues, to provide input on the Lely-wide HR vision and strategy, and to get to know the Lely culture even better. We secretly think we are the best HR team, it is up to you to come and test this :).
