Vestas is looking for an experienced and motivated Insurance specialist to join our Insurance & Risk team forming part of our global Legal, Risk and Compliance organization. The Insurance & Risk department is an integrated part of our Global Risk team consisting of other global expertise functions such as Enterprise Risk Management, Security & Crisis Management, Financial Risk as well as a Contract Risk team overall responsible for sales contracting governance including policies and procedures globally applied.
This is a new position within the Insurance & Risk department with global responsibility of Vestas' corporate insurances setup including a wide range of insurance and business-related assignment supporting both the Insurance and Risk team and the broader Vestas organization in general.
The department is handling all corporate insurances for Vestas as a group and consist of ten professionals dealing partly with insurance procurement, risk assessment, loss prevention and claims and partly with supporting sales activities in contract risk management. The team is located Denmark, Sweden, Germany, Spain, USA and Singapore, close to our regional Sales Business Units. Furthermore the global team is supported by our Shared Service Center in Manila, where four persons are dedicated to the Insurance & Risk Team.

Responsibilities

The primary assignment is to centralize, manage and drive local insurances, both local underlying policies to our global insurance programs and pure local insurances such as Auto, Workers Compensation, Accident etc. for our entities worldwide. This to be done in partnership with our support team in Manila

In respect of local underlying policies to our global programs you will be assisting the Business Line Owner - consisting of four team colleagues, with renewals, data collection and invoicing as well as stakeholder communication world-wide

Responsible for Broker and Insurer interaction and collaboration on the lines of responsibility

Facilitating a number of ongoing and planned projects in optimizing business processes and utilizing the groups Shared Service Center more efficiently

Qualifications

3+ years of experience from the insurance sector, either from a broker, an Insurer or from corporate

Broad knowledge around insurances including procurement of insurances and insurance broker services & interactions

Insight in and understanding of Travel, WC, Auto and Accident from an advisory, claims or administrative role

Experience with international network handling in a broad context

English - high level both verbally and written
