Who are we

Sonova Audiological Care Denmark is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with hearing loss. As part of the international Sonova group, operating in more than 100 countries with more than 17.000 colleagues, we are the leading private provider of hearing aids in Denmark with a mission to break down the barriers of the usage of hearing aids.

We have around 80 hearing centers across the country with in total 172 good colleagues. Most of them are helping people with a hearing loss out in our stores, but 29 of them are based – with you – in our Scandinavian headquarter in Charlottenlund.

IT Manager

We are on the lookout for someone service oriented to join our team of dedicated colleagues. We prioritize supporting local businesses with punctual and high-quality 1st and 2nd level support. We maintain a strong focus on concise and clear communication, good problem solving and support.

You will experience a great level of trust and local responsibility while having many dedicated and professional colleagues globally who are ready to help out whenever needed.

Your main purpose is to assure that your colleagues are provided with an undisturbed service for IT applications and client devices. You will report to our Director Regional IT Europe.

Your main responsibilities will consist of:

Support local server and storage infrastructure including failures and coordinate replacement of equipment if necessary across Nordic region. Provide system administration on Windows Server, VMware hypervisors, Dell storage and Veeam Backup

Support the co-ordination of any office moves, changes or additions (this may extend to shops)

Support Local Area Network(LAN) including switch stacks, WIFI, DCHP, DNS. Troubleshoot failures and replacement of equipment.

1st – 2nd level IT incident and problem management remotely and where needed onsite including asset management

Participation in service management meetings, identifying opportunities for improvement and shift left (including writing of Knowledge Articles for providers of 1st level support)

Participating in local or global projects impacting IT (e.g. resourcing, budgeting, stakeholder management)

As needed working with local business stakeholders and global counterparts to identify technical solutions and opportunities for improvement

Managing of local IT Budget including escalation to local management for approval, risk management.

Besides your daily tasks you will also be participating in - and sometimes leading - projects such as:

Being responsible for the IT setup in event of moves, relocations, renovations or new business integrations

Network and server upgrades and maintenance (. patching) following corporate standard and guidance

Manage local backup and support restore requests where required.

Roll-out of new software or technology (. Windows OS, new servers, devices, network)

We think you will be a great fit for our team if you hold

Experience in service management and working with people across organizational levels

Good analytical and technical skills and the ability to manage time, prioritize tasks and work under tight deadlines

The ability to work independently but still integrate well into teams both online and on site

Hands on experience in setting up computers in a Microsoft Windows environment and basic knowledge in application management support

The confidence to carry out software upgrades on local applications

The ability to convey IT concepts to your colleagues

Fluent in Danish and English skills since you will be working with colleagues around the world and travel occasionally within Europe to support on projects. It is considered being a plus, if you understand and/or speak Swedish.
