Role

First things first: At Airtame it is the QA team that decides whether we release and you will be pinnacle in ensuring the product’s success. If you enjoy conscious exploratory testing, love to break things, and want to write a bit of code on the way — this role is for you!

The mission of this role is to support us in solidifying our position as the most easy-to-use screen solution for people in organizations. You will specifically get a chance to build and extend our capabilities in the video conferencing space, where we collaborate with all major players in both the video conferencing as well as the AV industry.

We have built a combined offering of screen sharing, video conferencing, and digital signage - all managed by our cloud solution - and are continuing to build out our market offering.

We're now looking for a passionate Junior QA Tester, who is inspired to help us build and test new features and capabilities as well as develop further on existing work. 

As a Junior QA Tester, you will be working closely across the entire R&D team supporting our product managers, engineering teams, and tech support to ensure the overall product quality. You will support the technical decisions regarding the QA setup and ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing on our software application with various hardware and peripherals.
• Identify and report bugs, usability issues, and performance limitations.
• Develop detailed test cases based on provided requirements and design specifications.
• Execute test cases meticulously and document results comprehensively.
• Collaborate closely with developers and stakeholders to communicate discovered issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Engage in agile/scrum meetings, providing updates on testing progress and highlighting potential risks or obstacles.
• Support regression testing activities to uphold software release stability and reliability.
• Continuously enhance testing skills and methodologies through learning and experimentation.
• Contribute to maintaining and improving test documentation and testing environments.

To be successful in this mission, you have:

• A relevant education in IT or Software development 
• Some experience with Python and/or JavaScript
• Some experience with different OSes. Linux experience is a plus
• A structured and organised approach to work with a drive to learn new technologies
• An Understanding of agile software development processes
• Excellent communication skills in English
