We are looking for a LCL Customer Operations Partnerto strengthen our team in Malaysia.

A unique role as LCL Customer Operations Partner, where you will be responsible for the operational execution of LCL and be in daily contact with customers and vendors as well as has the overall accurate revenue and cost allocation.

This role will give you the opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders and extend your network within Maersk.

You will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and be part of a very dedicated team.

Improve customer relationship and satisfaction through day-to-day customer fronting services

Key Responsibilities

General: 

  • Become single point of contact for all customer needs
  • Lead customer implementation together with CIM, Product, Sales and Delivery.
  • Onboarding maersk.com to new customer ( email / phone call ) 
  • Guide new customer for CHB Nomination
  • Guide customer on cargo turn in CFS 
  • Attend day to day customer emails and make bridge between delivery and customer.
  • Knowledge Exchange with the sales and account management in order to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Monitoring of shipments to provide proactive update to our customers and to solve potential operational disruptions
  • Exports:

  • Check sailing schedule with gateway or coleaders and provide booking confirmation.
  • Connect with shipper to have all the shipper & consignee, cargo details & cargo ready date. Which party to perform customs clearance & cargo delivery to CFS.
  • Send Si template & check SI, HS CODE. Follow up on CIPL, Customs Form.
  • Provide Draft Bl for checking.
  • Container details, Final Bl once vessel sail
  • Require work & following up closely with Del-Exp for each of export booking.Follow up the cost from Del-Exp / vendors, validate adhoc charges and inform FINOPS to cost inFollow up on the billing to customer for close shipment.
  • Imports:

  • To connect with Origin and get sailing schedule.
  • To connect with consignee and advise incoming shipment.
  • To send HBL to customer and follow up with Del-Imp. to have ETA / NOA & Invoice.
  • Follow up on DO & permit for Cargo clearance from CFS within free days.
  • Reporting: 

  • Customer reports to be sent weekly basis as per SOP.
  • Reports for internal stakeholders as per IOP
  • KPI performance dashboard
  • We are looking for

    The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of Supply chain / Freight Forwarding experience ideally, but not limited, with extensive knowledge and expertise within the LCL area.

    You are a visionary and strategic thinker with a customer centric mindset.

    Furthermore you:

  • Have strong stakeholder management skills
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Are able to collaborate across functions, departments and geographies
  • Creative and problem-solving abilities and finding solutions, acumen to continuous improvement.
  • Have strong ownership and accountability.
  • Bachelor degree/MBA in logistics , SCM is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Experience of working with SG based customers will be an added advantage
