At VELUX, we have committed to reduce our emissions in line with the most ambitious pathway of the Paris agreement and to go beyond our value chain to capture the equivalent of our historical emissions. We will achieve a 100% reduction in our operational emissions, halve our value chain emissions and capture the equivalent of our historical footprint from operations.
To capture our historical emissions, we have partnered with WWF. Through the partnership with WWF, VELUX finances forest protection and restoration projects that capture the equivalent of our historical emissions from operations since 1941 and up until 2041.
