Logistics Subject Matter Expert

The position

As Logistics SME you will use your holistic supply chain knowledge and technical SAP expertise to improve our supply chain and ensure stable and reliable processes. You will be part of project teams which have a significant cross-functional areas impact. Your key responsibilities will include to: Demonstrate ability to identify better practice and create improvements in logistics flows Manage and overview the system implementation of new flows between Novo Nordisk and Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs) in SAP Act as Master Data Steward in routine meetings to agree delivery actions and facilitate knowledge sharing Run data analysis to identify and quantify gaps within shipping processes and make clear prioritisations, as well as coordinate actions needed to avoid or reduce the impact Act as a system expert for operational areas and support colleagues with system issues Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or minimum 5-7 working experience from similar position Have a previous experience as SAP Superuser or Technology/SAP Consultant Possess strong knowledge of one or several of the following: SAP ECC, SAP S4/HANA or similar ERP systems. Further you are experienced with master data creation and maintenance Strong technical skills to support logistical systems and processes. Have tactical logistics competencies and a holistic overview of supply chain (typically covering several parts of the organization) Be fluent in English, both written and spoken It would be considered as a plus if you are familiar with the pharmaceutical industry. As a person, y ou are known to be highly engaged, proactive, not afraid to take the lead and have a problem-solving mindset. You can easily build relationships through trust and transparency and are able to communicate across cultures. You know how to get commitment from both internal and external stakeholders. You are able to understand different perspectives, adapt your own communication and convince others to take ownership whenever it’s needed. Last but not least, you take responsibility in a dynamic environment, with many tasks to coordinate and execute on, with changing priorities and strict deadlines. About the department You will be part of our Logistics & Distribution (L&D) department. The department is overall responsible for the global distribution of Novo Nordisk products between production sites and to our affiliates and regional offices across the globe, focusing on delivering a high service while balancing environmental footprint with financial impact. We are a department of about 60 employees, divided in Shipping Operations, Validations & Transport Control, Quality & Compliance, Warehouse Center of Excellence (CoE) and Projects & Analytics, located at Novo Nordisk HQ in Bagsværd. The open position is in Shipping Operations. As our new Logistics SME, you will join a team of 12 highly motivated and talented colleagues.
