Manager for Mechanical Innovation and Development, Aseptic Production Technology

Then this is your chance as we are looking for a Manager for Mechanical Innovation and Development in Novo Nordisk Injectable Finished Products in Bagsværd.

The Position

As Mechanical Engineering Manager you will lead a team that delivers innovative mechanical solutions for current and future production facilities. You will be a part of a cross functional leadership team, where we strive to create an innovative and inspiring environment and use state of the art methods and tools to deliver robust and scalable solutions for the Novo Nordisk production network.

Your key responsibilities:

· Lead and develop a strong team of mechanical engineers and attract of new talent.

· Interact with key stakeholders in our implementation and production network.

· Plan and prioritize work and resources.

· Develop skills, tools, and processes.

· Create an inspiring and inclusive innovation environment and culture.

· Take part in development our Innovation Lab in Bagsværd.

· Contribute to the department’s leadership and strategic development.

Qualifications

To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have:

· An academic degree in Engineering.

· Experience with leading people within innovation and development.

· Good communication skills and professional proficiency in English

It is an advantage if you have experience with mechanical design for advanced manufacturing equipment or pharmaceutical manufacturing.

About the Department

In the Aseptic Production (AP) Innovation and Development department, we develop mechanical and automated solutions to:

· Future-proof manufacturing solutions maximizíng capacity and compliance and reduce the need for human intervention in existing production facilities.

· Secure that future facilities are at the forefront of the industry meeting future production requirements.

We are responsible for development of equipment and systems from ideation until the first successful pilot implementation. Our skills include mechanical design, automation, robotics, virtual development, rapid prototyping, and validation planning. We are responsible for a test production line in Kalundborg and an Innovation lab in Bagsværd. Out team currently counts 40 employees plus students, interns, and consultants. We are an engaged, diverse, and international team working primarily from our office in Bagsværd.
