Marine Maintenance Engineer

Are you ready to contribute to Northern Europe's biggest construction project? We are currently seeking a Maintenance Engineer to implement and operate the Planned Maintenance System on our marine installation scope. This project will result in the longest immersed tunnel in the world, and we need your expertise to ensure the smooth operation of our vessels and equipment.

About us:

At Femern Link Contractors (FLC), we are a joint venture comprising nine international construction companies with extensive experience in large infrastructure projects. Our mission is to design and construct a state-of-the-art immersed tunnel, tunnel portals, and ramps while upholding the highest standards of safety, sustainability, and ethics.

Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the technical management of both onshore and offshore installations. Your primary responsibility will be to implement and maintain our Planned Maintenance System (PMS) in collaboration with the technical department onshore and marine crews on board our vessels. Your tasks will include:

• Gathering, verifying, and analyzing technical input.
• Maintaining equipment to an operational state and anticipating future requirements.
• Collaborating with various stakeholders, including technical superintendents, bridge and engine room teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments.
• Creating risk analyses and prescribing appropriate maintenance measures.
• Providing support to users of the maintenance management system.
• Continuously improving the PMS to enhance system reliability and reduce costs.

Qualifications:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• +5 years of experience working in a technical marine maintenance environment.
• A completed technical education at Bachelor level or equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of Marine Planned Maintenance systems such as Maximo, Star, etc. (experience with system implementation and set-up is a plus).
• Excellent oral and written skills in English (Danish and Dutch are a plus).
• Good analytical skills.
• Self-motivating and friendly personality with the ability to work with multiple nationalities.
• An organized and structured approach to work.
• Willingness to travel.
