We offer
A super interesting role where you will be involved in two critical areas of Maersk’s Energy Markets teams: market risk and product control.
From a Market risk perspective, you will be involved in conducting as-hoc analysis and explaining market moves, updating existing tools and frameworks, reviewing and maintaining existing processes, reducing manual steps and maintenance, supervising and integrating projects, and writing documentation and requirements.
From a Product Control perspective, you will play an essential role in marking the positions of our energy trading books, and engaging with the traders and operators in understanding what is driving the profitability of these positions.
You will be based in a fun and dedicated team in Copenhagen.

Who we are looking for
The ideal candidate will have basic financial skills, such as high level understanding of market risk and value at risk, as well as good data technical skills (Python/R/SQL), and programming experience.
You have excellent communication skills and the ability to simplify technical challenges based on the audience. You are able to to build effective relationships and collaborate with a range of individuals at all levels in the organisation.
Furthermore, you have the ability to prepare project planning, prepare updates and track projects, write documentation and requirements.
As a person you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and you have excellent prioritisation skills in order to balance key priorities.
