About AAK Denmark:
Located in the Port of Aarhus, AAK Denmark is the oldest site inAAK founded in 1871 and the world’s largest producer of shea oil and fats.These are mostly used in the chocolate and confectionery industries, but sheaoil is also used in cosmetics. Our highly automated production process runs24/7 – 365 days a year, supervized by expert operators from our central controlroom. Our oil and fats laboratory is responsible for the development of AAK’sglobal process technologies, which contribute to cleaner and more efficientmanufacturing, and more sustainable end products. Our product development teammanages development activity across the group, in close collaboration with theCustomer Innovation Center. Our site’s large IT team also works across theglobe.

Aboutthe role:
Asa Network Specialist you will be responsible for the design,implementation, and maintenance of our organization's network infrastructure. Youwill play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, security, andperformance of our network systems. Your expertise in network technologies,strong troubleshooting skills, and knowledge of industry best practices willcontribute to the smooth operation of our network environment.
Your primary focus willbe on the local network in Denmark, but we operate a global networkinfrastructure, that you will be a part of.

Key responsibilities:

Planand execute the deployment of network hardware, including routers, switches,firewalls, and Wireless controllers. Configure network devices and protocols toensure optimal performance, security, and availability.

Monitornetwork performance, analyse traffic patterns, and identify and resolveperformance issues. Implement network monitoring tools and configure alerts forproactive identification and resolution of potential problems. Optimize networkresources for performance and efficiency.

Implementand enforce network security measures to protect against unauthorized access,data breaches, and other threats. Configure and manage firewalls and accesscontrol lists (ACLs).

Providetechnical support and troubleshoot network-related issues. Collaborate withtechnical teams and vendors to identify root causes and implement correctiveactions. Conduct network diagnostics and packet analysis to resolve complexnetwork problems.

Maintainaccurate documentation of network configurations, diagrams, procedures, andtroubleshooting steps.

Manage network access control, including user authentication, VPN connections,and remote access. Configure and maintain network connectivity to externalpartners, cloud services, and data centers.

Developand enforce network policies, procedures, and standards.

Collaborate with network equipment vendors, service providers, and carriers toprocure, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure and services.

About you:
Ideally we would like you to have atleast 3 years of experience with network infrastructure. If you have knowledgeof Cisco is a plus, as we mainly use Cisco solutions, but not a must.
You mighthave a degree in Computer Science or other degree related to IT or be selftought with many years of experience.
As aperson you are a team-player and a good communicator. And finally Danish andEnglish is a must to succeed in the role.
