We are looking for a Paid Search Director to our agency Kinesso, who is a leading global digital marketing agency. From our Copenhagen office we help local, regional and global brands to grow and thrive. We operate on an international scale with offices in 48 countries, and our Copenhagen team offers strategic support across IPG Mediabrands Nordics clients and beyond. At Kinesso we offer integrated solutions covering digital consultancy, Paid Social, Paid Search, Addressable Media, SEO, UX, Content, Analytics and E-Commerce solutions.

Kinesso supports the IPG Mediabrands media agencies UM and Initiative, as well as servicing our own direct clients.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Paid Search Director will be leading strategy, planning and performance oversight across existing client work, ensuring performance is at an optimal level, providing strategic and tactical guidance on best practices and delivering on agreed KPIs and Collaborating and working seamlessly with cross-functional teams including Strategy, Paid Search, Addressable Media, Experience / SEO, CRO/UX, Analytics, as well as client services.

You will be a manager for our Paid Search team and will be responsible for the daily operations, training and supporting the Paid Search staff to develop their skillset and successfully manage daily optimization of accounts.

YOU ARE:

  • A highly skilled and passionate paid search professional, with demonstrated experience working on strategy for complex campaigns across multiple territories and industries including commerce. working
  • You are results driven and have a proven track record of planning highly successful Paid Search performance campaigns for high profile advertisers.
  • You have an ability to build client relationships and possess strong communication skills with the know-how to clearly articulate complex information and translate it into key takeaways.
  • You’re a confident presenter with experience in working on new business opportunities and pitches.
  • You’re proactive and a self-starter with experience working in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
  • You are passionate about Search Marketing and take an active interest in keeping up to date with the latest developments and best practices within digital marketing.
  • You’re a strong people manager who invests in their team with a focus on learning and development.
  • You possess strong organizational skills and have a structured approach.

  • ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Brief team on set up, execution and reporting requirements across campaigns, and monitor performance and spend.
  • Monitoring of Paid Search management across portfolio, ensuring quality levels are as expected, tasks are coordinated, and adjustments are made as required to deliver on client expectations.
  • Drive optimization and testing across accounts to ensure all accounts are performing as efficiently as possible and assist in defining elements of Paid Search projects to set expectations of what is and is not in scope for a given retainer or project.
  • Leading vendor liaison to drive innovation / growth and ensuring best practice recommendations are implemented across client portfolio.
  • Leading the development and presentation of Paid Search audits, forecasting, reporting, performance reviews and training.
  • Creating and maintaining good working relationships and offer guidance, support, and direction on Paid Search projects.
  • Taking an active role in identifying relevant growth opportunities and support in selling in new projects.
  • Assist in new business and up- / cross sell proposals and pitches.
  • What you’ll need aside from a passion for Search:

  • Preferred 5+ years’ experience in a Paid Search role.
  • A proven track record of account development through innovation, optimization and testing techniques.
  • Deep experience with various strategic planning of Paid Search, commercial modelling and forecasting.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work as part of a team and as an individual.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with numbers. 
  • Solid business writing skills and ability to produce high quality presentations and reports.
  • Experience with different attribution models and challenges they each present.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
