As Plant Manager for Helseholmen, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our production facility, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

As the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and optimizing day-to-day operations to surpass the expectations of our customers. You will focus on increasing production capacity and flexibility, all while keeping costs minimized and upholding the highest quality standards. Your role will entail ensuring consistent production output, maintaining product quality, and guaranteeing on-time shipping. Additionally, you will allocate resources effectively to achieve optimal results and implement strategic initiatives, providing clear direction to the team to ensure alignment with organizational goals. As well as foster and ensure a trusting and good working environment and development of staff.

Your responsibility will be:

• Plan, organize, and optimize day-to-day operations.
• Increase production capacity and flexibility while minimizing costs and maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure production output, product quality, and on-time shipping.
• Allocate resources effectively to achieve optimal results.
• Implement strategic initiatives and provide clear direction to the team.
• Monitor operations and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and waste reduction.
• Commit to plant safety procedures and environmental sustainability.

You will primarily be based at our Plant at Helseholmen, Hvidovre. However, you will be expected to be at Toms HQ in Ballerup a couple of days during the month, and occasionally travel to our site in Nowa Sól, Poland

About you

As a potential candidate for the position of Plant Manager, we expect you to bring:

Demonstrated work experience as a Plant Manager, highlighting your ability to effectively oversee all facets of plant operations. Your proven managerial experience underscores your capability to lead and inspire teams towards achieving the expected goals. Your adeptness in business and management principles, encompassing budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources management, equips you to make informed decisions and drive performance. Moreover, your comprehensive understanding of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory management etc. Your ability to lead by example fosters a culture of responsibility and continuous improvement.

In addition, we expect that you have:

• A background and relevant education in food production and management.
• Strong financial acumen.
• Experience with continuous improvement and lean principles.
• Proven track record of leading change initiatives.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Effective leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Danish and English spoken and written.
