What you need to make a difference
Simulation & Modeling:
Wind turbines, desirable experience with type-3 and type-4 technologies for transient stability studies.
Ideally 3 or more years’ experience developing PSCAD models
Grid Connection background: Familiarized with grid code requirements.
B.Sc or M.Sc or PhD in electrical or power systems engineering
Wind power plants; or at least renewable energy power plants in which multiple components needs to be controlled at the same time to match the references or needs at point of common coupling. Renewable systems: mainly wind turbines, but also PV and BESS.
Algorithms to control power plants, mainly wind turbines, power converters and/or renewable energy power plants. Experience with hybrid power plants will be a plus.
Other skills:
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical topics clearly and concisely.
Self-motivated with the ability to take the initiative in finding innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
It is important that you are a dedicated team player, and you thrive in a multi-cultural environment – just as you possess fluency in spoken and written English
