Essential Attributes:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in power trading or a related role within the energy industry.
Strong understanding of power markets, including supply-demand fundamentals, trading mechanisms, and price drivers.
Proven track record of successful trading and risk management in competitive energy markets.
Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in quantitative analysis and modelling.
Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in trading platforms and market data analysis tools.
Desired Attributes:
Master's degree or professional certifications in finance, economics, or quantitative disciplines.
Experience with algorithmic trading strategies and automated trading systems.
