RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop membrane modules based on market requirements, in compliance with necessary legal regulation (e.g pressure vessel) for all membrane businesses. Identify and capture evolving market and membrane technology, providing direction and guidance to the membrane technological roadmap. Lead, coordinate, moderate or otherwise participate in international and interdisciplinary teams globally that focus membrane technology (module design, membrane and module manufacturing technologies). Act as technology management interface/liaison with other engineering disciplines and/or external partners to ensure optimal/successful field operation for (pilot) plant start-ups and commissioning of our membrane modules. Organize & lead troubleshooting exercises internal and especially at customers site, when implementing new products into production/operation, as well as develop counter measures. Develop, establish and revise manufacturing procedures, design and specify the purpose/specification for manufacturing equipment in general. Steer technical discussions as Principal Engineer in strategically important and selected customer meetings to support membrane business activities. Validating and equipping of new OEM partners for all membrane markets, integrating Evonik’s technology into their product portfolio. REQUIREMENTS
Master`s degree in Engineering or related field Minimum of 10 years of experience in the membrane technology industry Strong technical knowledge and expertise in membrane design and manufacturing Proven ability to drive innovation and develop new membrane design concepts and methods of module manufacturing Excellent problem-solving skills and can-do attitude Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a global and cross-functional team environment Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed Flexible working enviroment
