Retail Operations Specialist, IMEA

In this exciting role you will oversee all retail operation guidelines and training material developed for our franchise stores.

You will be a vital player in ensuring compliance with all Flying Tiger Copenhagen’s store standards by motivating, coaching, and training the franchise teams. Additionally, you will maintain an open dialogue with franchisees to create alignment, gather feedback and share best-practices. You will support our store opening processes in the markets by following up on individual milestones.

This is a role that will require market visits and therefore you must expect business trips to be part of your job. Our current franchise markets in the region are Saudi Arabia, Israel, Bahrain, Kuwait, UAE, Oman, Qatar, and this autumn we will open in Turkey – we have much more to come.  

You will report to our Regional Retail Manager, IMEA and you will work from Flying Tiger Copenhagen’s office in Strandgade, Central Copenhagen, however you can also expect frequent market visits.

Your responsibilities will be:

• define and cascade store operation standards to drive retail excellence.
• liaise with franchisees on operational performance and agree on action plans for improvements.
• support franchisees on maximizing revenue and optimizing cost spend through improvement of processes and ways of working according to set standards.
• regularly mentor, coach, train, and support franchisees towards excellence in store operations
• support and monitor store opening process after hand-over from store construction.
• follow up on KPIs for franchise stores related to operational excellence using qualitative follow ups as well as our instore excellence reports and surveys.
• develop supporting material, guidelines, and trainings for our Easy Store & Model Store
• monitor and review implementation of Easy Store & Model Store training in franchise markets.

This is you

• retail operations and best practices is your thing! You have a retail background, preferably from an international retailer, and you have worked with different markets / countries.
• you are working as a coach/trainer with previous retail operations experience.
• a proficient user of Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• a fluent English communicator (verbally and written)
• a great analytical and critical thinker
• an expert in developing and executing training for operational processes.
• an effective communicator who can engage teams, build relationships, explain patterns, advise the business, and summarize complex financial arguments.

You will be part of the retail IMEA team consisting of 5 engaged colleagues as we are expanding the business, we are part of a dedicated global franchise team.

We are +300 People working from Flying Tiger Copenhagen´s head quarter in Copenhagen, 29 of us are currently fully dedicated to the franchise growth.

Our target is 1.000 Franchise stores in 5 years. We are busy but we insist on having fun while we work.
