Are you interested in working in drug safety and pharmacovigilance and helping to ensure the safe and effective use of medicines? Would you like to join a Safety Medical Writing team responsible for preparing medical documents for all Ferring products to ensure patient safety?

If so, step into the role of Safety Medical Writer, where you will prepare aggregate safety reports for regulatory health authorities. We are responsible for reporting an overview and assessment of the safety profile for all medicinal products in Ferring's portfolio based on safety surveillance.

Our team is a dynamic group of six talented individuals with diverse experiences and skills. Collectively, we possess expertise in medical communication and writing. We strive for simplicity and efficiency in our processes and collaboration with stakeholders across the global Ferring organisation.

Your day at Ferring

Your key tasks will be:

Planning, coordinating, and preparing aggregate safety reports to regulatory health authorities: Development Safety Report (DSUR), Periodic Safety Update Report (PSUR), Pharmacovigilance Risk Management Plan (RMP), and Addendum to clinical overviews (ACO)

Preparing and analysing the data included in the aggregate safety reports

Working in cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders

Supporting requests from competent authorities and safety inputs required for labelling and renewal packages

In addition to a university degree in pharmacy or other life science we imagine the ideal candidate will have some of the following traits:

Good communication and planning skills are essential, and you are writing and communicating in English at an accomplished professional level

You are good at planning, coordinating, and managing stakeholders to drive the writing process, facilitate decision-making, and meet deadlines

You might have pharmaceutical industry experience, though this is not a requirement

You can work independently and as a part of a team

You are thorough and structured but also pragmatic and have a positive can-do attitude
