As a Senior Hardware Architect, you will be overall responsible for DEIF hardware architecture solutions and concepts, and you will lead our journey of platform alignment across all products to ensure coherence in technical decisions on the design and structure of the hardware architecture. You will drive our hardware architecture group of five domain architects, with whom you will define future architecture needs and implement new technologies, methods, and tools.

You’ll report directly to the Vice President of R&D Hardware and join the Hardware Management Team, which consists of three specialist and four department managers.

Key Responsibilities

• Overall technical responsibility for design and the discipline of creating a sustainable structure that supports our current and future technologies.
• Ensuring the quality and performance of hardware architecture across product platforms.
• Deciding on reuse, modularisation, standardisation issues.
• Providing initial resource- and cost estimates for projects and business support.
• Driving the roadmap within your domain and facilitating knowledge sharing across the organisation within the development projects.

Working tasks:

• Drive technology studies and participate in external networks and seminars.
• Collaborate with R&D specialists to define short and long-term technology roadmaps.
• Align with the Project Manager and Product Manager on architecture decisions.
• Drive a cross-functional hardware community
• Promote knowledge-sharing regarding architecture across DEIF.
• Communicate effectively about architectural and performance risks.

Competencies and Qualifications
You are creative and cooperative and have a curious mindset – driven by a passion for innovation. You communicate effectively in Danish and English, enabling seamless collaboration with other team members and external stakeholders.

You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related field. In addition to this, you have proven experience in hardware architecture design, including power, analogue, and digital systems, with a track record of successful project leadership.
