(Senior) Project Manager - Equipment and facility upgrades in Aseptic Pilot Plant

Do you have expertise within implementation of new equipment in an aseptic production, do you have the curiosity it takes to understand the dependencies, do you have the personality to achieve improvements with your colleagues, then you could be the new Project Manager within our activities to upgrade our Aseptic Pilot Plan (APP) facility in CMC.  

The position 

As Project Manager, you will become an integral part of the department with special emphasis on facility improvement projects. Depending on your experience you will support the Senior PM in driving the activities or obtain your own responsibility for one or more of the active and planned activities. Our projects are defined together with the department leaders and coordinated to balance progress in facility improvements and maintain output from our pilot plant.  

During the next phases you will assist in shaping the next wave of rebuilding of our facility to obtain optimal output of the isolator filling line we are installing in the first wave.   

As Project Manager, you: 

• Handle project manager activities such as setting and communicating clear goals and purpose for the activities. 

• Have a clear understanding of stakeholder management as a critical component to the successful delivery of a project. 

• Will be responsible for planning and following up on work package deliverables, timeline planning and quality. 

• Will ensure effective use of time and resources. 

Qualifications 

To succeed in this role, you have:  

• A relevant academic degree and documented project management experience or experience in leading teams 

• Have experience within a pharmaceutical manufacturing process. It is an advantage if you have experience with implementing new production equipment.  

• On a personal level you are structured and thrive in delivering results and have excellent communication skills.  

• It is natural for you to connect with colleagues at all levels of the organisation and you have strong flair for stakeholder management. 

• You are fluent in Danish and English both written and spoken. 

On a personal level you thrive in leading and instructing others and you are a team player with a can-do attitude. You thrive in an innovative environment with challenges and optimisation, and collaborating with international colleagues, stakeholders and suppliers. 

And, as project manager you have high disciplinary competences and can self-lead. 

About the department 

In APP our most important task is to ensure that drug product is available on time, in the right quality and the right quantity for Novo Nordisk development projects. The department is responsible for all processes needed for running an aseptic production. APP is responsible for drug product production for phase 1 and 2 trials and have the production responsibility for outsourced production for phase 3 trials. The approx. 100 people in APP are all located at Novo Nordisk site Måløv. 

APP is a part of Drug Product and Analytical Development (DP & Ana Dev) which is part of CMC Development (Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control) in Novo Nordisk PS Q IT. APP consists of 3 teams highly dependent on each other to deliver. Collaboration and curiosity are behavioural values in high focus.
