(Senior) Project Manager - Technique, infrastructure and building projects

The position

As our new Project Manager, we expect you to deliver high-quality project management for projects of varying size, budget, and complexity. Our project pipeline, which includes projects within technique-, building- and infrastructure projects, is rapidly growing. All project design and execution are handled in close collaboration with the operating departments, local service centers and other relevant departments in Novo Nordisk. Stakeholder management is a significant part of the job, as we work with facilities and surroundings that affect many colleagues and processes. In this role you can expect that you will have the full responsibility for the projects, and you are expected to run the entire process from A-Z, which includes: Mature projects from idea to final design to execution and handover. Management of external consultants within technique, construction, and technical disciplines. Execution of projects within agreed scope, budget, and timeline. Commissioning of the projects, as well as successful handover to operations. Being the go-to person in terms of smoothly moving from project to operation and ensuring that the implemented solutions can be operated. You will become an integral part of the execution team, ensuring that we implement tangible and significant steps towards a sustainable site infrastructure. Qualifications We are seeking candidates who fulfil the following prerequisites: Preferably a master’s degree in engineering or similar education. Minimum 3 years of project management experience. Solid know-how in driving infrastructure projects as well as broad knowledge of the engineering landscape within facility management and the newest trends within this field. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to utilise when taking projects through execution and handover. Fluency in spoken and written English and Danish. Furthermore, we expect that you are able to handle most situations independently, receiving minimal guidance, but will seek advice and guidance on more complex issues. You should be able to set directions and deliver results in own role which has a significant impact within the context of a wider operational area. On a personal level, you are very trustworthy, a team player and have flair for stakeholder management as you will be in daily contact with line of business, vendors, etc. We expect you to have excellent planning skills, ability to work in a structured manner with an agile and proactive mind-set and be capable of handling a high-paced and complex work environment without losing oversight and motivation. The 21 colleagues in the department manage a large portfolio of maintenance, infrastructure, renovation and expansion projects with various complexity and size, across all Danish sites.
