Job Title: Senior Proprietary Intraday Power Trader

They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Proprietary Intraday Power Trader to join their dynamic team. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement proprietary trading strategies to capture alpha in intraday power markets, utilizing both fundamental and quantitative analysis techniques. Execute trades autonomously and in real-time, utilizing sophisticated trading platforms and tools to capitalize on market opportunities. Monitor market conditions, news, and events to identify trading signals and adjust trading strategies accordingly. Manage risk exposure and position limits effectively, utilizing risk management techniques and controls to mitigate losses and maximize profits. Collaborate with quantitative researchers, developers, and other traders to enhance trading strategies, develop new models, and optimize trading algorithms. Analyze trading performance, P&L attribution, and market impact to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years of experience in proprietary trading, with a focus on intraday power markets. Deep understanding of power markets, including supply-demand dynamics, market fundamentals, and regulatory frameworks. Proven track record of generating consistent profits and outperforming benchmarks in proprietary trading. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical analysis, data visualization, and programming (e.g., Python, R). Experience with proprietary trading platforms, market data feeds, and execution algorithms. Excellent decision-making skills, ability to perform under pressure, and thrive in a fast-paced trading environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
