Your future role
Ensures site SCADA and critical IT/OT equipment business continuityCoordinates, together with I&C and IT/OT, 3rd Layer (site) support for the communication and SCADA systems (HV&AUX Scada (Substation) and WTG Scada) for the assigned and operational Offshore WindfarmsResponsible for troubleshooting relevant systems in case of failure and coordinating the involvement of suppliers and stakeholders (Site Ops, CCR, I&C, IT/OT, …) when requiredManages Root Cause Analysis on Monitoring & Control infrastructure failures and malfunctions suggesting detailed engineering solutionsAccountable for tracking associated systems life expectancy and coordinate the actions for their life extension (upgrades, refreshes, replacements)
Cyber Security
Ensuring SCADA and site IT/OT infrastructure physical and environmental securityWorking alongside the central OT Security team to help enforce SCADA Security governanceDisaster Recovery & Business Continuity: To maintain services during significant disruptions as a result of one or more serious cyber security incidents. And to reduce the duration and level of impact causedCyber Security Incident Management: Practice and test incident response processAsset Management: To identify and document all site IT/OT (incl. SCADA) related assets and manage the full lifecycle of the assets in scope. This includes defining and coordinating appropriate management and protection responsibilitiesSecurity in Change Management: To manage all changes for the assets securely, ensuring they do not compromise the security of the assetsIdentity and Access Management: responsible for SCADA access management, keeping track and maintaining changesPatch Management: Making the final decision on whether a system should be patched and when (after advice from OT security on risk and from I&C on feasibility), waying this against Operational risk and feasibilityCompliance: To ensure the compliance with the organization’s policies and standards and relevant regulations as well as other SCADA/IT/OT security requirementsRisk Management: To manage the cyber security risk for the assets in scope raised by OT Security / I&C, as part of Operational riskThird Party / Supply Chain management: Ensure third party complies with cyber security policy and processes on day to day basis
Your profile
Successfully completed university degree or equivalent working experience in a relevant technical or engineering disciplineExperience in HV and WTG SCADA systems and its infrastructure, as well as in control systems, automation, SCADA, PLC's, RTU's and IED'sExperience in some of the most used Industrial Communication Protocols (especially OPC-family, IEC-104, Modbus and MMS)Cybersecurity relevant credentials ISA/IEC62443, GICSP, SANSDeep understanding of regulatory security frameworks i.e. UK Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF), IT SIG 2.0, KRITISKnowledge on managing vulnerabilities in control system environments with interdependencies to operational business processesStrong understanding of security frameworks such as ISO 27000 and NIST CSFKnowledge in Communication Systems commonly used in Offshore Windfarms (Tetra, VHF, 4G, 5G IP Telephony)Ability to carry on risk analysis and its mitigation plansCapability to handle multiple assignments as needed and plan them dependent on project priorityWillingness to work offshore, travel and motivation to spend periods of time abroadFluent in written and spoken English
