Social Media Assistent

Who are we looking for? 

Are you someone who is passionate about social media and content creation? Then we have a part-time (15-25 hours/week) position for you available on our team at Hairlust. 

We are looking for someone who wants to drive our social media presence across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Pinterest, and wants to get creative with content creation. In this position, you’ll be a part of a driven, skilled, and multicultural team. You will be responsible for creating and editing content to visualize our brand and engage with our community on our social media platforms. 

Who are we?

Clean, conscious, and seriously effective hair care. We are a Danish-based beauty brand with offices in the heart of Copenhagen. Since Hairlust was founded in 2017, the business has almost grown each quarter, won multiple beauty awards, expanded into 12 local markets, developed 60 hair products, had more than 500.000 customers, and built a social media presence with over 160.000 followers.

Your primary responsibilities:

• Curate engaging and original content for our social media platforms, captivating and engaging our audience.

• Assist the content creation process with freelancers, influencers and content creators.

• Record content and be comfortable in front of the camera.

• Responsible for our SoMe calendar, scheduling and publishing content.

• Engage with our SoMe community via direct messages, post comments and tagged content to further drive engagement

• Research current and potential social media trends well-fitted for the Hairlust persona.

• Suggest and implement new concepts to further develop brand awareness.

• Stay up-to-date with current relevant technologies, design tools and  applications.

• Collaborate with other teams to ensure brand consistency.

• Ad hoc tasks 

The right candidate profile might look like this:

• Min. 1 year of experience in a similar position

• Experience with various SoMe platforms (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, Youtube)

• Experience with Photoshop and/or Canva

• Experience with CapCut

• Excellent written and verbal communication in English

• Catchy copywriting experience is a bonus

• Comfortable behind as well as in front of the camera

• Good time management and organizational skills

• Able to work independently and take initiative, while collaborating with your team

• Personally active on social media
