You will join an experienced international team dedicated to developing impactful lasting products to propel the advance of renewable energy. On top of the physical energy storage batteries, the XOLTA offering consists of a cloud-based platform for energy optimization, reseller support functions and end user interface to the products.

XOLTA A/S is owned by the charitable foundation Ebbefos Foundation focusing on children's well-being.

About The Role.

As a Tester in our Software Development team you will be part of an agile team that is working on the cloud-hosted parts of our platform. If you have dipped your toes into the IoT pool either as part of your professional role or as a hobbyist it is a huge plus, but not a requirement. You will work closely with the rest of our R&D department, spanning from Mechanical Engineers working on the physical enclosures, to Electrical Engineers designing circuits for controlling the various parts of our battery systems.

Your responsibility will be to do QA on the code that the team develops for our Azure hosted platform. Part of this is to participate in Refinement sessions, write and execute test cases, as well as lifting the general quality of the code base.

You are expected to have a curious mindset and actively seek out knowledge to help you understand and solve problems within the domain. You are a team player and is used to sometimes having to seek compromises with other team members.

General responsibilities in the job.

• Breaking tasks down into test cases.
• Carrying out said test cases.
• Have a keen eye on the ball with regards to the quality of the solution.
• Collaborate with other team members on both solving the tasks at hand but also on delivering a great product as a team.

Experience/qualifications for the ideal candidate.

• Education level, preferebly Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics.
• Preferably a couple of years experience working within a development team as a software tester.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
• Experience in learning about a domain, breaking it down into its components, analysing requirements and in the end turning that into test cases
• Experience in test automation is a plus but not a requirement.
