What you will do
As a Software Privacy and Security Specialist (m/f/d) at WS Audiology, you will play a critical role in ensuring the data privacy and cyber security of our software products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential vulnerabilities, create regulatory documentation, define security measures and stay up-to-date with evolving privacy regulations.
Your expertise will be essential in maintaining and enhancing our software's security posture. You will work in a highly motivated team, working across sites in Germany and India, covering different regulatory as a well as technical disciplines with an overall focus to develop amongst others solid apps to support our hearing aids. Its focus is to provide all development life cycle steps to create and publish medical mobile apps with high quality.

Your tasks:
Privacy and Security Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of software applications, identifying potential privacy and security risks and vulnerabilitiesPrivacy Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or CCPA, by implementing necessary safeguards and processesRegulatory Documentation: Own, create and release regulatory documentation. If necessary improve, create and maintain privacy and security processesSecurity Implementation: Adwise on security measures, including encryption, access controls, and authentication protocols to protect sensitive dataSecurity Testing: Trigger regular penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, and security audits to proactively identify and address weaknessesSecurity Awareness: Educate development teams and staff on security best practices and raise awareness about privacy and security concernsPrivacy Impact Assessment: Conduct privacy impact assessments for new software features or projects, ensuring privacy by design principles are followedSecurity Updates: Keep abreast of emerging threats and security trends, and implement necessary updates and patches to software systemsIncident Response: Contribute and comply to company's incident response plans, investigating security breaches and coordinating necessary actions to mitigate risksWhat you bring
Your Experience
Strong knowledge of relevant privacy regulations and data protection frameworksProven experience in software security, privacy, and data protectionPreferably certified professional in data privacy and cyber security areaYour personal competencies
