Our Copenhagen office, located in Axel Towers, only3 minutes’ walk from the central station, is searching for a Senior Electrical Engineer who is looking to further their career within a leading consultancy with a friendly office environment.

Your responsibilities

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play an active role in all stages of our projects. You will be responsible for the delivery of projects within budget and time frame, the collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and clients, and the management and mentoring of junior staff members of your team.

More specifically, your tasks will be:

·Strong project experience in designing electrical systems

·A background of working in engineering consultancy, including an understanding of RIBA / BSRIA design stages, working as part of a wider multi-disciplinary design team.

·Experience of attending site and monitoring works, including familiarity with the installation and commissioning stages of the project for communications systems and their supporting ancillaries (such as containment, power).

·Experience of working in a client-facing role, presenting their designs, and leading discussions on behalf of the communications discipline.

·Able to act on their own initiative, solving problems on projects and building relationships across the wider team and practice.

·Experience with digital engineering technologies / Building Information Management (BIM), the ability to use key software packages such as Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD would be desirable.

·Designing and reviewing design work of intermediate and junior engineers.

·Coordination of work with all members of design teams (architects, engineers of all disciplines, QS etc.)

·Preparation of conceptual design studies and reports.

·Reviewing contractor’s design submissions, procedures, schedules, etc. to ensure compliance with contract documents.

Your technical and personal competencies 

You are a team player who enjoys working in a vibrant international environment on high profile projects, and you possess the following competencies:

·Degree in Electrical Engineering.

·Minimum 4 years post-qualification design and construction experience.

·Experience in managing design delivery of electrical building services Systems across sectors especially Data Centre, Commercial & Industrial Buildings. 

·Technically excellent with in-depth knowledge of relevant Danish standards and regulations in Europe.

·Experience in a range of medium to large-scale projects.

·Experience in multidisciplinary teams on large scale projects, from design through to construction, commissioning, and handover.

·Ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.

·Organised and adaptable with a flexible approach to work.

·Good communication skills. Excellent spoken and written Danish & English.

·Highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges.
