Startup Internship

Looking for an autumn internship? Well, we at Birdwire are looking for an initiative-taking intern to help during our app’s launch and post-launch period!

About the job

We’re a tiny startup and that means your tasks will be varied and dependent not only on our needs, but your own initiative. Generally, tasks will include SoMe & marketing operations, customer relations, and research/strategy support. These could be, e.g.:

• Operating our SoMe front, including content creation and campaign management 

• Analysing metrics and identifying trends

• Providing support in developing relationships with potential and existing clients and collaborators 

• Maintaining our back-office B2B platform 

• Doing community outreach and recruitment for studies

About You

Our ideal intern is led by an entrepreneurial mindset. They are a creative people’s person with strong communications skills across all boards. They are quick on their feet and enjoy working on multiple tasks simultaneously. They have an understanding or interest in marketing, business development, innovation processes and/or startups. 

More specifically, you:

• are enrolled in a Danish university (required) and are currently working towards a master’s or bachelor’s in a relevant field, e.g. communications, marketing, business or media in a Danish university. However, we care more about your mentality and interests than education and are open to hearing from students from other fields too

• are fluent in both Danish (advantage) and English (required)

• are organised and self-driven 

• are proficient in software like Microsoft Office, Google Drive or similar (required)

• are familiar with SoMe graphic editor software like Canva, or Adobe Suite software, video editing and other (advantage) 

• have experience or knowledge related to sales and marketing (advantage)

The internship will run August through January (flexible), though you can start earlier if you wish.

The work hours are very flexible and accommodating; and if at the end of the internship we don’t want you to leave, you’d be more than welcome to stay.
