The position
The Program Manager is responsible for creating the program overview and setting the strategical direction for prioritizing what brown field investment project to be executed at Emerging Technologies Expansions (ETX).
Core focus will be on developing, implementing and continuously improving governance methods and tools, additionally supporting improved local project execution methods and tools.
Main responsibilities will include:
• Design and drive program management, aligning with resources availability
• Facilitate appropriate level of competencies for Project managers and end users and QA people involved with local projects
• Maintain close and strong alignment with procedures and strategic partners in operating model and working relationships
• Strengthen Program Manager community
Overall, you will challenge and develop our project performance, e.g. by initiating dialogue with consulting engineering companies and key suppliers.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who can drive the Program overview agenda across Emerging Technologies and continuously develop to stay competitive providing directions for efficient, reliable and transparent Program Management.
To succeed in this role, you:
• Hold a Masters’ degree in Engineering or similar
• Have proven project management experience
• Have experience working with senior leadership in an international context
• Have worked in highly regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, oil&gas, food or similar
• Are fully proficient in English
It will be seen as an advantage if you have managed projects in different cultures.
On a personal level, you have the ability to manage and communicate effectively, other than collaborating with-, and motivating highly skilled professionals that are used to work independently.
Overall, you are a sociable, strong communicator that builds and maintains valuable relationships with key stakeholders.
About the department
ETX is established to ensure structured and well defined major investment projects in Emerging Technologies. We are a strong team with significant project execution experience, from driving major brown- and green field projects.
ETX is responsible for establishing successful conditions for both known market supply and future development needs. We hope to become app. 40-50 people in the central office and we will have colleagues in local project execution offices both in Europe and US.
